Press Release

TEXA and Infopro Digital Automotive have signed an exclusive agreement to integrate HaynesPro data into the IDC6 diagnostic software. The collaboration brings together TEXA’s expertise in diagnostic solutions and innovation for repair shops with the wealth of information and technology provided by Infopro Digital Automotive, one of the leading international providers of technical data and digital solutions for the automotive aftermarket.

Thanks to this integration, AI Data Switch, Infopro Digital Automotive’s technology, interacts with TEXA’s AI ecosystem, enabling mechanics to access the information they need by asking questions in natural language directly within IDC6. Alongside TEXA’s content, users can also access additional technical information, including technical drawings, lubricant and fluid data, repair and maintenance manuals and times, technical bulletins, resolved cases, and recalls. These are capabilities that no other diagnostics player will be able to offer for the duration of the agreement.

For workshops, the benefit is clear: faced with large volumes of technical information that can often be difficult to navigate, the AI integrated into IDC6 makes it easier to quickly identify relevant content, helping automotive repair professionals focus on the correct repair process while providing access to information from TEXA’s certified sources and the HaynesPro dataset.

The collaboration confirms the growing importance that both companies place on artificial intelligence as a tool to support repair professionals, who are increasingly required to manage the rapid evolution of modern vehicles.

TEXA has always been committed to meeting the needs of independent automotive repair professionals, who are increasingly called upon to work in real time on ever more complex vehicles,” explained Leonardo Cescon, General Manager, Garage Equipment and Telemobility at TEXA. “Today, AI can make their work significantly easier and help make our diagnostic solutions increasingly strategic, providing the information they need, when they need it, in a simple and immediate way. This is why we have invested in the collaboration with Infopro Digital Automotive, which is providing us AI Data Switch on an exclusive basis, with its technical data-sharing technology, enabling it to interact with our systems. This solution further strengthens the professional relationship that has existed between our two companies in the field of diagnostics for many years, while laying solid foundations for the current and future potential of artificial intelligence in support of vehicle repair.”

Régis Sandrin, Executive Director of Infopro Digital Automotive, added:

“For Infopro Digital Automotive, the value of artificial intelligence lies not only in the technology itself, but also in the quality and structure of the data that powers it. Our technology enables reliable, structured and continuously updated technical information to be transformed into precise and relevant answers, without requiring professionals to manually search through large volumes of content. Thanks to our collaboration with TEXA, this wealth of information can be accessed through a natural and immediate user experience, allowing automotive repair professionals to find the information they need more quickly. We are proud that TEXA has chosen to partner with us for this project. It demonstrates the value of our data and represents an important step forward in the development of digital tools that support repair shops in their day-to-day work.”
